Chile - A Land of Contrast.

by Jennifer Esseiva

I went to Chile on a whim. I had always dreamt to visit South America and I decided to go to Chile for 3 months just after my final exams. I had only two months to plan this trip. I was expecting a lot from this country and I have not been disappointed!

From the North to the far South, Chile is a country made of infinite landscapes. The mountains are made of amazing colors, such as the pigments that Vermeer used to create his paintings. Yes, Chile is a paint palette.

By going there, I wanted not only to travel, but also to learn Spanish. I guess this was the best idea of the trip. This gave me the possibility to interact with the local people and helped me a lot for travelling alone.
