India. Even an attempt to describe the place would be clichéd. And of course there are books for that. However, the India I share here is a colorful montage of images taken during my travels through the country over the last two years. Some are simply faces captured during the Maha Kumbh Mela in Allahabad, while others are from the iconic holy city Varanasi. Other images are from Ahmedabad, Chittorgarh, Jaisalmer and New Delhi. All of these are images of people and their life, while one image also depicts how life ends and we all simply turn into ashes and go back to mother earth.
Photography is deeply philosophical to me, and every picture I take has a story behind it. I usually see the story and then take a picture. Not perfect, these images capture the imperfections of life. There is beauty in them, as well as sadness. Very broadly these images belong to the common man and woman who live tirelessly, living small beautiful moments and finding happiness in them.
