Colours of Senegal.

by Edgar de Bono

“Colours of Senegal” is a selection of photos taken in different areas of Senegal: from the capital city of Dakar, to the sadly known ‘Isle of Gore’, passing through St Louis and the National Park of Djoudi.

The human being in his daily tasks is the centre of these photographs: men, women and kids are the subject of each composition where inspiration and spontaneity are essential for me.

The real and unique protagonist of these shots is without hesitation, colour. They are indeed intense and vibrant colours, streaks of sunlight and strong shadows originated from Senegalese sun, which inspired and directed my gaze to create such images.
