Friendship Highway (China – Nepal) is a scenic route that spans as long as 800 km, connecting the capital city of Tibet Autonomous Region, Lhasa to the Nepal border.

For 4 days we journeyed South starting in Lhasa, through the heart of the highland, took a route which went pass Yamdrok Lake, the city of Gyantse, the city of Shigatse and alternatively ended at Everest Base Camp. To this day, the route functions as a vital infrastructure that boosts economical benefit as well as tourism for both countries. The highlight of the journey to begin with is to get a first hand experience while traveling along the scenic highway built on the high-elevated Tibetan plateau or commonly known as "The Roof of the World" and at the same time, visiting ancient monasteries and encountering with Tibetans. This makes Tibet different from any other place in the world.
