Greece - Athens and Santorini.

Athens and Santorini in 2 weeks. I have never seen so many ruins in my life in such a short period of time! But it's worth a visit, even if after, we don't want to visit any other!

Both places are also very different. Athens is well known for the Acropolis, which is very impressive. It is incredible to think that so long ago they have managed to build this citadel up on this hill. It is hard to imagine how life was going on in the past, when you see all these ruins. It must have been magnificent. Athens itself is not that nice, but the view from the Mount Licabet gives an impressive view of the giant city.

Santorini is the opposite of Athens: small and cute. It is a small island in the Aegean Sea where life on a totally different rhythm. I really loved this place with the little white houses and the narrow streets of Fira and Oia. These cities are perched on the remains of the volcano, which gives an amazing point of view. The volcanic rocks have special colors like black, brown, white and even red.
