Dust of Sahel.

by Roberto Nencini

Hard and poor soil. You'll be astounded at how people are able to cultivate these dusty lands, without a single drop of water.

Here the Harmattan blows, a dry wind that covers everything with a thin layer of dust when it arrives. And it's from the dust that these people have created amazing and impressive mosques built entirely of clay.

You may be speechless by the Mali culture, but it always welcomes you with ease and serenity... I've locked this culture in my head and in my pictures, I hope.
